Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said Sunday he will soon celebrate his 76th birthday and he is the real him and not Jubril from Sudan, his supposed double who is much talked lately.
Buhari was addressing the Nigerian community in Krakow, Poland and was responding to the question whether he was real or Jubril. His birthday is on December 17.
He is in Poland to attend the UN Climate Change Conference, COP24.
The president added that many people believed he died during his recent ill health and they approached Vice President to consider them as his deputy. This was something really embarrassing.
Talking about the country he said his government will focus on security, economy and fight against corruption. These three points were his campaign in 2015.
He continued saying that the country is doing good in security, economy and agriculture. Nigeria has stopped importing rice and other food products and this has saved a lot of money.
Buhari assured that the country has food and fiscal security as many young educated people in the rural areas have opted to get back to the farms and earn a living.
The president also assured to the Nigerian community in Poland that no territory of the country is now under the control of Boko Haram terror group.
Buhari called the people to be vigilant and supportive to the efforts of the government so that security of lives and property are ensured.
The president further said his first priority is security as investors look for it before investing in the country.
