The former couple on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ is happy to move forward with their lives ‘in a positive way not only individually but as co-parents.’
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” couple Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif has officially reached divorce settlement, a year after announcing their separation. Now that “all outstanding issues related to our divorce settlement and all pending litigation” are settled, they are focusing on co-parenting their sons, Gavin and twins, Collin and Christian.
“Our first priority is our children’s’ well-being and happiness. As their parents and advocates that is our goal. Our children are our most important treasures and need to be treated with the respect and privacy they deserve. We’re happy to be moving forward with our lives in a positive way not only individually but as co-parents,” they say in a joint statement.
“This is a new beginning for each of us. Our goal is for our children to have stable and nurturing relationships with both of us so we can all find as much happiness as possible. We appreciate the good wishes we continue to receive from our supporters around the world.”
The couple married in 2002. They split after 10 years of marriage. Details of their settlement are still unclear, but they reportedly had a prenup expected to safeguard Maloof’s estimated $300 million fortune.
According to TMZ, Nassif dropped his demand for his attorney’s fees to be paid by Maloof. He was also reportedly no longer pursuing his request to have his son Gavin, who has some learning and attention issues, transfer to a school that specializes in kids with disabilities.
