Anyau warns Express’ Super League rivals

When he promised to down SC Villa, many did nopt take him seriously until the Red Eagles edged their long time rivals 1-0 in the FUFA Super League at Wankulukuku about 10 days ago.

And after following it up with a 6-0 walloping of CRO last week, Express coach Frank ‘Video’ Anyau has sent out a message to his detractors that they can only deny the Wankulukuku side points at their own home grounds but not at Wankulukuku.

“We have declared this is our fort and you know what it means for someone to want to fight you in your own backyard. We will beat all,” declared Anyau, flanked by his assistant Wasswa Bbosa.

“We started on a poor note because we were having a young players that were yet to gel. But now, we are ready for anyone and no one will get points from Wankulukuku,” warned Anyau who was excited that his young striker Umar Ngobi opened his ac-count with a hat trick in four minutes, one of the fastest in Uganda history.

Ngobi, the second top scorer in the 2010 CECAFA U-20 championship hosted in Eritrea with three goals, started the season with an injury.

“We are a team” of youngsters and what we wanted is to start scoring goals and now that we have started doing so,” said Anyau.
