China has become an important market for Apple. It should be considering the huge subscriber based in the country. There are 1.3 billion mobile users including 250 million 4G users. This is the reason CEO Tim Cook has made some changes in its first wave markets list for the newest iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
The iDevice giant has announced China will be included in the first wave markets list its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus which were launched on Wednesday in San Francisco.
In 2014 Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore were in the first wave list. This year too the three countries will get the devices on September 25. Interestingly, it is not understood why India has been opted out even though it is a fact the country will be the second largest mobile market after China by 2017. India is expected to be included in the second wave markets list.
Meanwhile, China Telecom, China Unicorn as well as the China Mobile carriers may be continuing their 4G/LTE networks support for the latest iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
Apple seems to be more inclined to the China market for its new iPhones. During the unveiling event it demonstrated the most popular mobile messaging app of China, the WeChat, to show how the newly included 3D Touch display technology works.
Earlier this year in March the WeChat was also included in the Apple Watch. Well, this is a good way to appeal to the Chinese people to use the latest iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
