APR, NUR to meet at Carre d’As final


Just a week after meeting in the league playoff final, APR and National University of Rwanda will face-off again in the in the men’s final of the Carre d’As tournament on Sunday at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

Newly crowned league champions NUR booked their place in the final after beating INATEK 3-1 and Lycee de Nyanza 3-1, while APR beat INATEK 3-1 and Lycee de Nyanza 3-2 on Saturday.

In women category, Rwanda Revenue Authority will face APR after beating Ruhango and St Alloys 3-0 respectively.

The Carre d’As champions will walk away with Rwf0.4m, the first runners-up will get Rwf0.3m  Rwf0.25m for the third-paced and the team that finishes fourth will take home Rwf0.15m in cash prize.


Meanwhile, on Sunday, NUR men and APR women teams will be officially crowned the league champions.
