At least ten people are believed to be dead and several others injured in the Road accident which has happened this afternoon between Mwenjelwa- Mbalizi Road involving three vehicles.
The Petrol Tank Lorry as seen after the accident happened few minutes ago in Mbeya Region.
According to the eye witness Baraka Hudson who spoke with In2eastafrica.net from the accident area few minutes ago, said the accident involved Petrol Tank lorry, private car and Toyota Mini Bus ‘Daladala’ which was on the way from Mbalizi to Mwanjelwa.
“The accident has happened at Iwambi Mountain where there is a sharp slope so the Petrol Tank’s break failed causing it to crash Daladala from the back and the private car.”
The reporter said after the crash was followed by fire explosion which burnt to death all people who were in Daladala and one person from Private car.
All three cars involved in accident were completely damaged by the fire exploded soon after the accident occurance.
We called the Mbeya Regional Police Commander through his private phone number but the call was not received.
