The late Brig Clovis Kalyebara who died on Tuesday last week will today be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kyogya Village, East Division of Fort Portal municipality, Kabarole district.

Brig. Kalyebara succumbed to cancer last in Nairobi, Kenya, at the age of 59, he is survived by six children.
The late Kalyebara joined the NRA struggle on February 2, 1979. He was commissioned to the rank of second Lieutenant in 1980, Captain in 1988, Major in 1990, Lt Colonel in 1996, Colonel in 2001 and Brig in 2005.
As an army man Brig. Kalyebara served as Chief Instructor Military Academy Bombo, Director Operations, Chairman Court Martial, Military representative with Military coordination committee, African Union and commandant Uganda military academy.
At the time of his death, he was serving as defense attaché in Kenya. Security Minister Crispus Kiyonga is expected to be the chief mourner.
