The 12th Meeting of the National Parliament is starting on Tuesday with a number of issues expected at the table including several bills.
According to a statement availed by the Information, Public Education and International Relations of the Parliament, the sessions will start with question and answers sessions as usual while the presentation of the bills will depend on the program as released on daily basis.
The first bill expected to be tabled today is the National Irrigation Bill of 2013, to be followed by the Cooperative Societies Bill, the Government Employees Provident Fund (GEPF) Retirement Benefits Bill of 2013 and Constitutional Review (amendment) Bill of 2013.
Another Bill in the programme is the Referendum Bill of 2013 while another activity will witness the launch of the Tanzania Human Development Report and other seminars. The House is also expected to ratify the East African Protocol on Cooperation in Defence Forces Affairs.
