Lady GaGa Opens Up About Battling Depression at the End of 2013

In an interview featured in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the ‘Applause’ singer says, ‘I became very depressed at the end of 2013. I was exhausted fighting people off.’ Lady GaGa reveals that she battled depression at the end of 2013 in a March edition of Harper’s Bazaar which will be available on newsstands on February 18. Gracing the magazine’s cover, the Mother Monster details her struggle to find happiness in the issue which also features her photos which were taken by photographer Terry Richardson. “I went through a rough time last year. I felt very taken advantage of by people I trusted,” says the “Applause” singer. “I became very depressed at the end of 2013. I was exhausted fighting people off. I couldn’t even feel my own heartbeat. I was angry, cynical, and had this deep sadness like an anchor dragging everywhere I go. I just didn’t feel like fighting anymore. I didn’t feel like standing up for myself one more time – to one more person who lied to me,” she continues. “I really felt like I was dying - my light completely out.” The 27-year-old pop star thankfully was able to fight her condition. “I said to myself, ‘Whatever is left in there, even just one light molecule, you will find it and make it multiply. You have to for you. You have to for your music. You have to for your fans and your family.’ Depression doesn’t take away your talents – it just makes them harder to find. But I always find it. I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me. You just have to go back to that greatness, find that one little light that’s left. I’m lucky I found one little glimmer stored away.” In the interview, GaGa also reveals that she no longer had eating disorder. “I am better with food. I don’t have an eating disorder anymore,” she announces. © AceShowbiz.com

Tom Sizemore: Elizabeth Hurley and Bill Clinton Affair Story Is ‘Not True’

Hurley has taken to Twitter to deny a report which alleges she had an affair with Clinton when he was still in the office, calling the rumor ‘silly.’ Tom Sizemore, who previously claimed that his former girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley had an affair with former president Bill Clinton when he was still in the office, has backtracked on his statement. In an interview with Huffington Post on Wednesday night, February 5, Sizemore said that the story was not true and issued an apology. “It’s not true. I was never at the White House. I’ve never met Bill Clinton. I’m not denying that I said these things. I don’t remember saying them, but it’s an old video tape and they’re the rantings of a guy… that had a very severe drug problem. Although I said it, none of it is true,” he explained. “I’d like to apologize to her for any hurt or B.S. I caused her or the Clintons or anybody else I may have mentioned. I was like a drunk saying that I was going to be on the Challenger next week… My perceptions were not the greatest,” he continued. Radar Online previously published a recording which features Sizemore’s voice. In the recording, Sizemore talks about visiting the White House in 1998 with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks for a screening of “Saving Private Ryan”. Sizemore said that Clinton at that time asked him Hurley’s phone number. The then-president flew her to the White House later. “What do you think? She was there for four days. He f***ed her that night,” Sizemore said in the recording. “I asked her (Hurley), what was it like there? … I said was Hillary a problem?

Justin Bieber Reportedly Was ‘Extremely Abusive’ to Flight Crew

A flight attendant had to seek refugee near cockpit because the ‘Baby’ singer and his father ‘were extremely abusive verbally and she would not work another flight with them.’ A plane carrying Justin Bieber and his entourage were detained and searched in suspicion of carrying marijuana at New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport on Friday, January 31, and details of the search now have emerged online. According to an official report obtained by NBC News, the 19-year-old pop star and his father Jeremy ignored pilot’s request to stop smoking marijuana and they were abusive to the flight attendants. “The captain of the flight stated that he warned the passengers, including Bieber, on several occasions to stop smoking marijuana,” the report read. The pilots said that they had to wear oxygen masks to avoid inhaling the smoke and failing drug tests which could cost their license. “The captain also stated he needed to request that the passengers stop their harassing behavior toward the flight attendant and after several warnings asked the flight attendant to stay with him near the cockpit to avoid any further abuse,” the report stated further. “The flight attendant stated the passengers, including Bieber and his father Jeremy Bieber, were extremely abusive verbally and she would not work another flight with them.” The report mentioned that there was marijuana smoke in the cabin. Bieber admitted to smoking weed and drinking alcohol during an interview with the officials, but said that he had no additional marijuana. Officers who searched the plane with drug-sniffing dogs did not find unsmoked marijuana in the plane, although two dogs alerted their handlers of possible marijuana in their luggage. Sources close to the situation said that the authorities found empty bags which appeared to have once contained marijuana during another search on the plane. The empty bags, however, could not be linked to Bieber, his father or their entourage. © AceShowbiz.com

Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Autopsy Inconclusive, More Tests Needed

Authorities reportedly also found a journal written by the late actor and are looking into it in hope to find clues about his death. An autopsy performed on Philip Seymour Hoffman returned inconclusive. New York City medical examiners’ office said on Wednesday, Feb 5 that more tests would be needed to determine the cause of the actor’s death. “Our examination has been concluded but the results are inconclusive,” Julie Bolcer told The Times. “We are awaiting results and additional studies.” There is no timetable on when the autopsy will be finished. Hoffman was found dead in a bathroom on Sunday with a needle in his left arm and drug paraphernalia nearby. Police suspected drug overdose and found at least 50 packets of heroin in his Manhattan apartment. Early tests found heroin samples in the packets but police are also testing whether the drug was mixed or tainted with anything else. There has been a strain of extremely potent heroin that has killed dozens of people on the East Coast just last month. Some of the heroin are meant for terminal cancer patients, containing fentanyl as one of the ingredients and having 100 times more power than morphine. However, a police official said that the heroin found in Hoffman’s apartment tested negative for fentanyl. The authorities reportedly also found evidence of other substance abuse such as unused syringes, a charred spoon and a lot of prescription medication including one that is used to treat heroin addiction. Along with the items, detectives found a rambling journal of the 46-year-old actor in the apartment. They have reviewed the contents in hope to shed some light on the circumstances of his death, but the details are kept under wrap. Four people have been arrested on drug charges in relation to Hoffman’s death. They allegedly possessed 350 packets of heroin among them and had Hoffman’s contact number. © AceShowbiz.com

But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologize and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me.” © AceShowbiz.com

Clay Aiken Running for Congress to Challenge Rep. Renee Ellmers

The former ‘American Idol’ finalist said in his campaign that he would defend his native North California people and would not change for Washington. From “American Idol”, Clay Aiken is attempting to make a transition to politic. The “Idol” season 2 runner-up announced on Wednesday, February 5 that he’s running for Congress in his native North Carolina, campaigning for Democratic nominee to challenge Republican Rep. Renee Ellmers. “I am not a politician,” he said in a video put up on his campaign site. “I never want to be one. But I do want to bring back, at least to my corner of North Carolina, the idea that someone can go to Washington to represent all the people, whether they voted for you or not.” Of choosing North Carolina, the 35-year-old told NewsObserver, “I saw this as the best place I could serve because I think Washington, in general, is dysfunctional. I think it’s high time we put people in Congress who were not beholden to their party and not beholden to anything but the people who they live around and grew up around, in my case.” Aiken took a jab on Ellmers who was elected in 2010. “She ended up in D.C. and was changed by it,” he said. “I went to Hollywood and didn’t let it change me. I won’t go to Washington and let it change me.” Ellmers herself has given a scathing comment for her new competitor. “Apparently his performing career isn’t going so well and he’s bored,” she told a Washington radio station before Aiken announced his run. Aiken saw it as flattery, telling NewsObserver, “I will say it’s pretty sad that I didn’t even get a chance to get into the race before the mud started being thrown around. That’s not the kind of campaign I’m going to run. Maybe I should be flattered that she’s worried enough she thinks she needs to stomp me down.” Before facing Ellmers, Aiken will first have to compete against former state commerce secretary Keith Crisco and counselor Toni Morris for the Democratic primary. Nathan Gonzales, deputy editor of the non-partisan Rothenberg Political Report, shared his view of Aiken’s participation, telling CNN, “I think this will become the highest profile, non-competitive race in the country. If Aiken wasn’t running as a Democrat in a Republican district in President Obama’s second midterm, he might have a decent shot. Being on American Idol doesn’t change the fact that he’s a Democrat in a Republican district.” © AceShowbiz.com
