LONDON, UK — 30 Oct. 2013 —The Dynamic Spectrum Alliance announced it has incorporated in the United Kingdom to become a fully registered organisation. The filing is a major milestone for the Alliance which has already seen its membership grow significantly since it was first announced in June 2013.
The Dynamic Spectrum Alliance works globally to advocate for laws and regulations that will lead to more efficient and effective spectrum utilisation and to be a flexible and effective partner to help governments around the world increase digital inclusion and provide greater access to wireless data. Trials and pilots involving Dynamic Spectrum Alliance members are now happening on four continents, helping to inform regulations, standardization, and commercialization.
“Whether the spectrum made available through dynamic access is used for M2M, ‘Internet of Things’ type communication or low-cost broadband, the economic and socioeconomic benefits have immense potential; from smarter cities, to more productive agriculture, more efficient use of our natural resources as well as enhancing job, healthcare and education opportunities for diverse populations around the world,” said Faith Shimba of the Tanzania Commission on Science and Technology (COSTECH). “The Dynamic Spectrum Alliance’s policy work will be a catalyst for global economic growth.”
The Dynamic Spectrum Alliance’s members work to create innovative solutions that will increase the amount of available spectrum to benefit consumers and businesses alike.

The Dynamic Spectrum Alliance will hold its first Global Summit in Bangkok on 18 November 2013, immediately prior to the International Telecommunication Union’s Telecom World conference.
