Hosts Express and Vipers displayed some good football though both sides could not find the net as the FUFA Super League resumed on Tuesday.
Cranes player Joseph Mpande came closest to scoring at Wankulukuku. The Vipers midfielder looked on in disbelief as his well taken free kick from outside the box cannoned off the woodwork.
The Red Eagles dominated young blood also had a good share of the spotlight and at the end of the day, coach Frank Anyau said the visitors were a very lucky team.
“They rode their luck. This is a game we should have easily won. They are indeed very lucky,” he said at Muteesa II stadium.
At Lugogo Police battled from a goal down to hold Proline. Jimmy “Ndiefi” Ssebagala had given Proline the lead but Jimmy Kulaba leveled the score from a penalty.
Action continues on Friday with six matches, two of which will be involving champions KCCA and URA.
