GOtv expands footprint, launches upcountry operations in Uganda

GOtv Uganda has expanded its signal footprint in Uganda to cover the western Uganda region starting with the towns of Mbarara, Kasese, Bushenyi, Kabwohe and Ishaka in a bid to assist more Ugandans beat the digital migration deadline. GOtv Uganda, a digital terrestrial transmission platform company of MultiChoice Uganda has expanded its signal footprint in Uganda to cover the western Uganda region starting with thetowns of Mbarara, Kasese, Bushenyi, Kabwohe and Ishaka in a bid to assist more Ugandans beat the digital migration deadline.

Speaking at the launch, Patricia Kiconco, the Segment Brand Manager GOtv said, “This is a huge milestone for the GOtv brand which is only in its second year in the Ugandan market but has already established itself as the Pay TV provider of choice for Ugandans seeking to migrate digitally using the most sophisticated and low cost technology available in the country ahead of the analogue switch off. The towns of Mbarara and Kasese become the latest addition to the growing signal footprint of GOtv after Kampala and Entebbe giving them an opportunity to enjoy our affordable, content rich programming.”
