The Biebs does some damage control and personally talks to the former president for his indiscretions.
After a video of him peeing in a mop bucket and saying “f**k Bill Clinton” leaked online, Justin Bieber does the decent act of personally approaching former U.S. President Bill Clinton to say sorry for the impropriety. The 19-year-old teen heartthrob thought well to own up to his blunder and talk to the former head of state to apologize.
“@billclinton thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot. #greatguy,” Bieber wrote on Twitter about their one-on-one. He was very fortunate to have caught the president in a good mood, as Clinton turned out to be cool about the whole situation, to the extent of saying, “If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well.”
On a more serious note, the former commander-in-chief advised the young pop superstar to be wary of the company that he keeps, a friend was said to have leaked the scandalous video, and to instead focus on the positive things he can do given his immense popularity and influence over his millions of followers. Bieber came back with heartwarming assurance that he would lend a hand to Clinton’s Global Initiative as needed.
The damage control is a wise move on Bieber’s part considering the seemingly non-stop controversies that he has been getting into one after another. Most recently, he was slammed for standing on the Chicago Blackhawks logo in the team’s locker room and posing with their Stanley Cup trophy which was a no-no.
