Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has introduced a new uniform for the enforcement team. The enforcement team will also have to undergo professional training.

The city enforcement team of about 50 officers will undergo six-week training in the several ways of handling suspects in the city.
Kampala Capital City Authority Executive (KCCA) director Jennifer Musisi made the announcement, at the KCCA gardens. She said that the training will enable the enforcement team learn to handle people and arrests.
She said that over 50 enforcement officers will be trained at a time.
Musisi revealed that the team will also receive new uniforms as a way of proper identification during their operations, the Kampala.
The officers will now wear yellow shirts, a black pair of trousers, belt and a black pair of boots. On each of the shirts is a number of the officer inscribed together with a rope.
Musisi said that the public will be able to identify the officer as the senior officer will wear light yellow shirts while the junior enforcers will wear dark yellow shirts. The uniform will also help the public identify masquerades, who may intend to rob the public.
The city has 342 enforcement officers in its five divisions of Lubaga, Nakawa, Makindye, Kawempe and Kampala city.
