Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces and United Republic of Tanzania President, Dr Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete has sworn in JWTZ Chief of Staff, Lt. General Samuel Albert Ndomba and Head of National Service Force (JKT) Brig. General Raphael Mugoya Muhuga in a ceremony held at State House in Dar es Salaam today.
The oath taking-ceremony was also attended by Tanzania’s Prime Minister, Mizengo Kayanza Peter Pinda, Defence and National Service Minister Shamsi Vuai Nahodha, The Chief of Defense Forces, General Davis Mwamunyange, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Said Mwema and other government officials.

“We are in the process of making sure we implement different programs which have been prepared by the government to ensure Tanzanian peace and security continue to be preserved for the betterment of the nation. This is a teamwork responsibility.” Minister Nahodha said.
He said every Tanzanian has the role to play in helping the country to be in peaceful situation and enhance economic activities.
