Remember Victor from ‘The Brothers’? Well, after the group’s split, he embarked on a solo career in music.
The singer, who has since changed his stage name to Koudou, has organised a concert during which he will launch his first solo album.
The concert will take place at Umubano hotel in Kacyiru on August 17.
The 27-year-old musician started his solo career early this year, and is known through songs such as Si iherezo and Fiesta, among others, which have had air play on most FM radio stations.
The album dubbed, ‘My Land’ comprises of 11 songs including; My Land, Si iherezo, My Wedding Day, Fiesta ,War Business, is a blend of Afro- RnB touch in Kinyarwanda, French and English languages with a live guitar feeling which makes his music stand out.
Also to perform at the concert are artistes King James, Mani Martin, Jody, Babou, Benny Black, Jules Sentore, Angel,Disciple among others.
“I picked these artistes because I believe their music sort of connects with mine,” Koudou says.
“My fans should expect a difference in performance and lots of new surprises. It will be a live performance,” he stresses.
Entrance is Rwf5,000 for ordinary seats and Rwf10, 000 for VIPs. The show will start at 6 pm.
