Lauren Conrad Gets Engaged to William Tell, Shows Off Her New Ring


The former ‘Laguna Beach’ star announces her engagement on heels of her ex Jason Wahler’s wedding with Ashley Slack this past weekend.

Lauren Conrad is one step closer to walking down the aisle. The former “Laguna Beach” star is engaged to her boyfriend William Tell. The former guitarist of rock band Something Corporate popped the question to his beautiful girlfriend after dating her for more than a year.

“I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled!” the soon-to-be bride broke the news on her blog, along with a picture of her engagement ring. Next to the diamond sparkler sat a “love” ring on her middle finger.

She additionally promised sneak peeks leading to her wedding day, “Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process.” She concluded, “William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes. Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment [smile].”


Conrad, 27, and her rocker-turned-law student beau, 33, have moved in together to her condominium in L.A.’s Westwood area. They recently celebrated their year-and-a-half anniversary in mid-August this year. “Just looked at the calendar and realized it was a year and a half ago today that I met this guy…And I sure am glad I did,” she tweeted.

This will be the first marriage for both. He was previously linked to actress Brittany Snow. She previously dated former “Laguna Beach” co-star Stephen Colletti, ex-”The Hills” castmate Brody Jenner, and actor Kyle Howard.

Conrad was also once in a relationship with former “Laguna Beach” co-star Jason Wahler, who just married his girlfried Ashley Slack over the weekend. The couple tied the knot at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Calif. Saturday, October 12 after a year of engagement.
