Publishers apparently are ready to make big offers to Remini for her stories about ‘her years in Scientology, her interactions with other celebs in the religion, and what she went through.’
Leah Remini may rake millions of dollars if she writes a memoir about her experiences with Scientology. Radar Online reported that publishers were interested in her stories and were ready to pay large sum of money for a tell-all book.
“Everybody wants the Remini book. If she’ll tell all about her years in Scientology, her interactions with other celebs in the religion, and what she went through in getting out – well, the sky’s the limit,” a top publishing executive said, adding that she could almost “write her own ticket” if she agrees.
The source explained that Remini could join other celebrities such as Keith Richards, Tina Fey, or Bill and Hillary Clinton who received millions of dollars for a book deal. “If she were to lift the lid off how the church really operates under David Miscavige and how Tom Cruise fits in, that would up the ante,” the source said.
If Remini says yes, her memoir is expected “to be a thought-provoking, sometimes funny, sometimes scary, sometimes sad look at Hollywood and Scientology that reveals information never previously known to the public.” The source believed that “Leah comes across as very bright, articulate and sassy. She definitely has it in her to write a best-seller.”
The 43-year-old actress previously said that she was planning to write a tell-all memoir following her withdrawal from the Church of Scientology. “It will include my experiences, everything that’s taboo to talk about,” she told Us Weekly on Saturday, July 27.
