The ‘Love and Hip Hop’ star reportedly got into a fight with another guy for disrespecting his girlfriend.
Lil Scrappy landed in trouble. The “Love & Hip Hop” star was arrested after getting into a fight with another man at a Georgia gas station recently. The other guy was hauled off to a nearby police station along with the VH1 TV star for questioning, TMZ reported.
Police at the station received a call about the altercation around 2:33 AM. An off-duty police who happened to be on the location managed to break up the fight before on-duty cops arrived on the scene. Scrappy and the other man were cited for disorderly conduct.
Scrappy was released from police custody a while later. The Southern hip-hop star claimed he only acted on self-defense. “He was calling my girlfriend names and then put his hands on me … so I had to lay them paws on him,” he said of what prompted the fight.
