The ‘America’s Next Top Model’ star and her husband Adam Friedman welcomed their first child Daxel Vaughn on September 28.
“America’s Next Top Model” all-star cycle big winner Lisa D’Amato gave birth to her and entrepreneur-husband Adam Friedman’s first child on Saturday, September 28. The 31-year-old model delivered her bouncing 7 pounds and 2 ounces new baby boy at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles a few days earlier than the initial October 1 due date.
“My baby boy Daxel Vaughn Friedman is born,” D’Amato broke the good news on her Instagram, adding, “He is perfect! He is so beautiful and chill. I’m so in love.” The birth of Daxel Vaughn marks another milestone in D’Amato and Friedman’s relationship, after their wedding last year at the Hollywood Castle in Hollywood Hills.
D’Amato’s present state was quite different from how she was throughout her pregnancy. “My pregnancy has been a complete nightmare, to be honest. I can’t believe women do this on the daily! I haven’t been bedridden or anything, but nausea all day everyday and only starchy fatty foods help it subside,” she described her condition back in May, five months on the family way.
Before becoming a bride and a first-time mom, D’Amato first came into the public eye as a contestant on Tyra Banks’ hit reality TV modeling competition show. She was first the sixth placer in the show’s fifth cycle before becoming the grand winner in its 17th cycle or all-star edition.
