Rolling Stone reported that the three-hour memorial started with blaring sound of guitar and drum of “The Blue Mask” which is the title track of Reed’s 1982′s album. The Velvet Underground’s “Rock & Roll” followed next. The event was brought to climax with “Sister Ray” off the Velvet Underground’s album “White Light/White Heat”. It was followed by “Think It Over” and some other pieces. The memorial ended with Lou’s 1975 LP “Metal Machine Music”.
