One of Rwanda’s finest entertainers, Maria Yohana, is set to headline during Sentore’s album launch to celebrate the singer’s achievements in the entertainment industry.

The concert billed to herald the launch of his Muraho Neza album, will take place on Sunday at Kigali Serena.
Yohana started her music career, while she was teaching in refugee camps in Uganda. She composed songs for the refugee days, (June 20) for the students to sing and was very active in sensitising the youth about who they were and there Rwandan origin.
In 1985, the 70-year-old was part of the Inkontanyi movement that sprung up with the sole intention of returning home to Rwanda. She composed songs to inform and encourage the Rwandan population in Uganda and elsewhere about that mission.
In 1990 she composed her first song about the struggle called, Inkotanyi za Malele, and this was soon followed by the famous, Instizi track that is so loved by all in Rwanda.
The Instizi star has promised music fans the best live performances to spice Sentore’s album launch.
Sentore’s launch is expected to feature appearances from some of the famous local stars. Also, fans will witness electrifying performances from, Knowles, Intore Masamba and his Gakondo Group and many other big names.
The November 3 concert, is expected to start at 6p.m. Entrance fee is Rwf5000 in the ordinary section and Rwf10,000 in the VIP wing.
