A Dar es Salaam based masonry and a businessman from Simiyu Region have emerged winners of Airtel’s Amka Millionea promotion bagging 15m/- each.

Juma Ibrahim Hamza (30) of Dar es Salaam and Adnan Ayub Khan (25) from Simiyu were announced in Dar es Salaam yesterday as winners of the Airtel cash prize.
Speaking during dummy cheque handover, the Airtel Public Relations Manager, Jackson Mmbando said the two emerged winners during the March Monthly draw.
“Apart from these two winners we have witnessed Tanzanians and our customers receiving cash prizes daily weekly and month through Amka Millionea promotion,” he said.
“We will continue rewarding our customer while enhance our product and services, offer quality and affordable services through Airtel Yatosha service that enable our customer to call other mobile networks at competitive and affordable rate,” he said.
Airtel Yatosha service offers short message and internet bundle without paying extra cost, added Mmbando. “ am overwhelmed and I thank Airtel for rewarding me this huge amount of money, this is a dream come true for me, I expect to use this money wisely, the plan is to build the house for my family,” Mr Juma Ibrahim Hamza said.
“I am a masonry and I earn small amount of money which I used to participate in this promotion. Today am glad that I have won 15m/- and I thank the Almighty God for this,” he added. On his part Adnan Khan the second 15 million winner said, “I thank Airtel for coming up with Amka millionea promotion and reward customers; I will use this money to expand my business.
I urge Airtel customer to participate in these promotion as they can stand a chance to win like I did today,” he said. Amka millionea promotion was launched in December last year and ended last week. More than 1,458 customers from different parts of the country have been rewarded cash prize worth 626m/, according to Mr Mmbando.
