National team head coach Micho Sredojevic says his team is ready for Saturday’s friendly in Botswana, which will give him an understanding of his players ahead of the one week camp in Turkey, in preparation for the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Senegal.
Sredojevic, speaking in the wake of President Yoweri Museveni’s offering the team finances to prepare for the must win match, said the offer would help the players focus on the task at hand.
“We are now going to concentrate on how to win the matches. We will not allow any other thing distract us. We are focusing on the plans,” said Micho.
The Serb tactician said he would utilise the available after Dan Sserunkuma and Abel Dhaira were ruled out of Saturday’s friendly.
Gor Mahia will not be releasing Sserunkuma because he is carrying an injury while Dhaira has commitments with his club Simba.
“We will go on with what we have and plan accordingly.” Micho stated.
