President Yoweri Museveni is in Nairobi, Kenya to attend a 2-day regional International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) that is expected to include Heads of State and Government leaders.
Musevenit is the current Chairman of the ICGLR.
Other ICGLR member countries are Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Congo (Brazzaville), the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia.
According to state house Museveni was seen off at Entebbe International Airport by the Presidency Minister, Frank Tumwebaze, the Head of Public Service, John Mitala, Commander of Air Force, Maj. Gen. Turyagyenda, and Assistant Commissioner for Prisons, Robert Munanura.
