Nigerian delegation visit Rwanda on study tour

A delegation from Nigeria’s National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies is in the country to learn about the institutional framework of both public and private institutions in Rwanda.

The 14-member delegation, which arrived in the country last week will end their tour on July 27.

They have so far visited the ministries of Education, Youth and ICT, Gender and Family Promotion, Agriculture as well as Rwanda Development Board and the Private Sector Federation.

Prof. Ibrahim M. Jumare, the head of the delegation, said they had learnt a lot so far, including the strong institutional framework of the country.

“The institutional framework of this country is very strong and operational, it is working because of individuals who are willing to deliver for development,” Prof. Jumare said.

He further noted that the Rwandan government motivates its people and it is evident everywhere that citizens are participating in their own development process.
