The local leading television comedian show, ‘Orijino Komedi’ will be screened across Africa, following the signing of a land mark management deal with Nexus Consultancy in partnership with Rockstar 4000.
The deal which is expected to run between three to five years was confirmed at the press conference held in Dar es Salaam. ‘Origino Komedi’ Producer, Sekioni David alias Seki told reporters that his group sees the deal as incredibly blessing and that it will take them from one step above to the hallmark of their talent.
“This has increased our focus immensely and we can now focus on our performance and our fans by taking talent into whole new level not just in Tanzania, but also across the continent.
“We are so happy with the deal, I can assure you that this is one of those best deals we’ve ever entered into,” said David without disclosing the package of the deal.
The deal will see the ‘Origino Komedi’ show which has been rated highly in Tanzania for last six years and all seven members of the group namely Lucas Mhuvile alias Joti, Alex Chalamila alias MacRegan, Emmanuel Mgaya alias Masanja, Isaya Mwakilasa alias Wakuvanga, Slivery Mujuni alias Mpoki, Joseph Shamba alias Vengu and David under the management of the company.
The deal will include the development, marketing and commercialisation of the TV Show and promotion of talent of ‘Orijino Komedi’ on exclusive deals not limited to physical and digital distribution, endorsements and events to global audience through its Pan Africa partnership with Rockstar 4000. Nexus Chief Executive Officer, Bobby Bharwani described the deal as important step for all involved partners.

She said the South African company which is promoting musicians has now opened doors to other artistes starting with ‘Origino Komedi.’
