The Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) has cautioned job seekers to avoid being swindled by conmen who claim to help them get jobs.
PCCB Communications Officer, Ms Doreen Kapwani said in a press statement that the public should recall that giving or receiving bribe is against the law, adding that anybody who would be discovered to have been involved in giving or receiving bribes would face the music.
“We would like to inform members of the public that the announcement made by the bureau made clear on job requirements,” said Ms Kapwani.
PCCB announced job opportunities in the ‘Daily News’ earlier this month whose deadline was yesterday. The job posts include Investigations Officers and Assistant Investigators.
“We wish to caution those who submitted their applications to the PCCB not to be swindled in order to get the job. We have started to sort out the applications and those who will meet the criteria will be informed,” concluded Ms Kapwani.
