Pendo English Medium School had a bright Friday as succeeded to lift a Cup when the Whitedent School Quiz 2012 reached its climax yesterday in Mwanza region.
The School which is Mwanza based was competing against Vituka Primary School of Dar es salaam at the final stage of the contest after both schools succeeded to pass into semi-finals few weeks ago.
Together with Cup, Pendo English Medium got 1 mil Tsh, 9 computers, 1 printer, 1 mil valued vouchers for buying school books, cycles for students who participated and other prizes.
Speaking during the closing event, The Director General of Chemi Cotex & Industries Ltd, Mr. Lakshmi Narayan Rathi congratulated the winners and thanked all schools which participated for their full cooperation they showed.
Whitedent School Quiz is the competition which was organized by Chemi Cotex & Industries Ltd and featured pupils from standard six aged 12-13 with the aim of improving the pupils’ ability of understanding issues in both classes and general public knowledge.
