The ruling on three petitions against Butula, Funyula and Budalangi legislators; Michael Aringo Onyura, Dr. Paul Otuoma and Ababu Namwamba will be made next week.
This is according to Busia county judge Francis Tuiyott who is handling the cases.
While addressing a press conference in Busia town early today, Tuiyott annouced that he will make the first ruling against Butula MP on Monday 9th September and the rest in the subsequesnt days.
He called on journalists to be accurate in their reporting and avoid misquoting or misinterpretating infromation or going against media ethics in relation to court reporting.
The judge lamented that a number of journalists reported haphazardly on court proceedings during the petitions and left the public in dilemma or misled about the cases.
Tuiyott who was flanked by Busia senior Resident magistrate Mildred Munyekenye said reforms in judiciary will only succeed through co-ordination and a good working relationship between the media and judiciary itself.
