The Tanzanian government wants its people to be front and center in the mining sector. According to a report published on the Daily News, it is learned the government is serious into making sure common people get a fair shot in the mining action.
So, here is the game plan. The government is looking for more Tanzanians to join in the mining business by providing services as well as stuff for the mining gigs. Minister of Minerals Anthony Mavunde spilled the beans at a meeting in Mwanza. He said that there is a grand plan for a big survey about minerals all across the country. This survey will help in stopping bad mining and bring forward safer investments in the mining industry. The government is also looking for big mining companies to join the sector, bring skills and goodies with them.
