Twenty-one Tigo subscribers have been rewarded with an assortment of prizes in the ongoing ‘Baguhe’ promotion.
Emmanuel Nzasabimana, who said he sent 155 short text messages, won the overall prize worth Rwf1m. Other winners walked away with flat screen TV sets, radios, smart mobile phones, shopping vouchers and school fees worth Rwf200,000.
Yasmin Amri Sued, the Tigo brand and communication manager, said the promotion aimed at giving Rwandans a better life.
“We are giving out digital television sets to ease the switch from analogue to digital TV transmission. We are also giving out school fees to parents in line with the country’s poverty reduction programme, EDPRS 2,” said Yasmin.
