Vipers top go top of Super League table

Vipers have Vincent Kayizzi to thank for topping the FUFA Super League table for at least 24 hours.

Kayizzi struck the lone goal as Vipers edged out Bright Stars 1-0 at Nakivubo Stadium on Friday to dislodge SC Victoria from the top of the table on 29 points.

Vipers who are just two clear of SC Victoria will keenly follow Saturday’s tie between Soana and Victoria which determines their stay at the helm.

At Kavumba, CRO who were still basking in the glory of a shock 1-0 win over Villa early this week suffered a 4-0 humiliation at hands of Police.

Patrick ‘Crespo’ Asiku and Jackson Kabuye struck for BUL as they came from a goal down to triumph over Express at Wankulukuku.

Earlier Umar Ngobi has scored for the hosts while Masaka and Entebbe settled for a 1-1 draw.
