Judge Warioba gave a warning as he was opening the annual general meeting of Tanganyika Lawyers Society (TLS) yesterday in Arusha Region.

“There is no need of some people to influence others in giving out opinions. Political parties and all institutions should know this. We will give all people and special groups enough space.”

He said citizens’ understanding of constitution is high and the Commission expects to get the right constitution which will fit the recent time.

“We have realized this in different places we have gone; people have awareness on the kind of constitution they want for the future of Tanzania.”

The President of TLS, Francis Stolla speaking before welcoming Judge Warioba, said his Society is pleased with the ongoing process of collecting New Constitution opinions and is sure that every Tanzanian will be given chance of airing his/her views.

“We, as society we just continue to raise awareness on constitutional matters and important issues to be considered.”
