London, Jan 30 (ANI): Former escort girl Jenny Thompson, who allegedly bedded Wayne Rooney while his wife Coleen was pregnant, has apologized for hurting her.

Thompson, who has just become a mother herself told the Sun that she feels a horrible guilt at what she did to Coleen.
“At the time I justified it to myself as just a job, but I feel horribly responsible for tearing a family apart like that,” she said.
The 23-year-old also revealed how verbal and online abuse heaped on her over her 1,200 pounds night with Manchester United striker Rooney launched her on a drink and drug-fuelled spiral that led her to attempt suicide.
She said that she began to hate how she looked. She had lots of tattoos done, and had cheek and lip fillers, Botox and an eyebrow lift.
Her face looked ridiculous but she just wanted to change herself somehow, she said.

In September 2011 she took an overdose, but was found in time by a friend who climbed in through a bathroom window.
“It was a cry for help. I felt so worthless that I didn’t know where to turn. I was living alone and I’d come home after a night out and just cry,” she said.
It was her mum who persuaded her to come home, and credits her support, and the support of her family, to saving her life.
