A Kampala based private owned Television Channel Wavah Broadcasting Services (WBS) has sacked 60 workers who include journalists and media workers in a major exercise that management says is aimed at cost – cutting.
According to a statement issued by Uganda Journalists Union (UJU), among the top staff sacked is the WBS TV Managing Director Lydia Ndagire.
