Nakuru, Kenya: Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) youths in Central and South Rift regions have backed Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero for the party’s top leadership slot.

Addressing the press in Nakuru, the youth drawn from six counties said they would mobilise delegates from the area to endorse Dr Kidero for the ODM national vice-chairman position when the national delegates conference is called.
“Dr Kidero will give a fresh impetus to the party and he has demonstrated that he has what it takes to lead ODM in a senior position. We’ll campaign for him and ensure he becomes the national vice-chairperson of ODM,” said Nakuru ODM youth leader Hilton Abiola.
