Zambia Bans Zodwa Wabantu

To avoid getting the morals of public corrupt the Zambian government has finally joined Zimbabwe to ban Zodwa Wabantu in the country.

The South African entertainer was scheduled to perform in Zambia and had earlier promied, through a video clip on social media, her fans in the country to be showcasing her talent without wearing underwear.

National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili said Zambia is a Christian nation and so the government cannot allow someone to perform in such a way, without underwear, as the performance carries no morality.

The controversial dancer was to perform in capital Lusaka on the occassion of launching of an album titled Pandemonium by Zambian musician Karasa Karayo over the weekend.

Zodwa Wabantu is a popular entertainer in South Africa and mainly because not wearing panties during her salacious dancing.

Meanwhile, Karayo has been defending Zodwa saying she has been told about the norms of Zambia and even though she would be performing at an adult entertainment show, she would respect the values of the country.

Real name of Zodwa Wabantu is Zodwa Rebecca Libram. She is a socialite too and earlier used to work for a debt collection company. She climed the entertainment ladder following her popularity at Durban’s Eyadini Lounge for her dance moves. Her closest ties is with Durbanite DJ Tira, but she has also worked and danced for several other celebs.

She was orphaned at the age of just 9 and currently the dancer is a mother to one son. She is 32-year-old.
